Invogue Polish Tea Leaf - Swatches and GIVEAWAY!

**Polishes in this review were kindly provided for me by Oh Beauty**

Good morning all!

Today I have a very special post for you - swatches of Tea Leaf, a beautiful shade by Invogue. You may recognise the name Invogue, as they are the makers of the Nails Inc Feathers dupes that I shared with you here and here.

This is the first chance I have had to try some of their 'Core' polish line. I was not disappointed! Tea Leaf is a beautiful mint creme polish. All the Invogue formulations are free from Toluene, Formaldehyde, Camphor and DBP, which for me is definitely a winner!

The formulation is fantastic - cremes can be a real pain for being streaky, being hard to level etc but this isnt, it levelled really nicely and the formula was just right - I think this could be a one coater for those a bit more careful than me! (Here I have used 2 coats with Seche base and top coat to finish out of habit). The brushes are also really nice with these polishes - no stray hairs and nice and firm which helps with application.

You can find Tea Leaf and a whole range of Invogue polishes (including the Feather effects, Concrete, Neons, Metals, Matt Suedes and Glitters) here at Oh Beauty. They retail at £4.49 each for a 10ml bottle, which works out cheaper than other retailers such as Superdrug when you factor in their free delivery (to UK).

What do you think of Invogue polishes? Do you own any? Are there any on your wishlist? I'm loving the neon range - they're definitely on my to buy list!

What do you think of this shade? Would you wear it? I'm loving it!

---------------

Now - to the giveaway! This is open to UK readers only - sorry! Oh Beauty were kind enough to send me a second bottle of Tea Leaf to give away to my lovely readers!

Rules:
Giveaway is open until 30th June - get your entries in! Open to over 18s only. I have added in some mandatory entries as I think we need to show Oh Beauty some love for giving us a free polish! More entries are available for sharing - you can do this each day to get another 5 entries per platform! Good luck!

UK Polish Subscription Boxes

Yes, you read right!

I am more than slightly behind with this news, as people started posting about this back in February, but the boxes are due for release in the coming months, so I thought just incase you were as behind as me, that I would let you know!

So Susan Cosmetics are dragging the UK in line with the US, with their release of the 'Lacquer Love' subscription box.

So Susan will offer 2 box themes every month - e.g "Gorgeously Glam" - big, bold colours and "Curated Chic" - more low-key, every day shades. Each box will contain 5 items - of which at least 3 will be nail polishes. Their polishes are 4-Free.

Before you enrol, you will be able to choose which box suits you the most. This is really flexible - you can switch between boxes as they will showcase these on Instagram and other social media around a week or so before the release, so you have time to change your mind if you want. You can also choose to gift your box to a friend or cancel if you want to as well.

There is currently a waiting list - the first 2000 names who sign up will receieve their first taster box for just £1! Every box after this will be £10 plus £2.95 p&p.

Here is the link for signing up - So Susan Cosmetics.

So excited about this - I love seeing what people get from their subscriptions such as Square Hue and Julep in the US - it really is time for us to have something similar!

Nail Storage

I was just wondering what everyone else used for storage?

I'm roughly at around 200-250 polishes at the moment and I've had to change my storage option. I did have all my polishes stored in a long under-the-bed storage box, but it has gotten to the point where I can't find the polishes I want because they're all piled on top of each other.

So I had a bit of a look around and most people use Helmers from IKEA or "Melmers" from a place called Michaels. Seen as I'm in the UK - IKEA is my only option, but I'm pleased because I like the metal design over the cardboardy design of the Melmers anyway.

The reason for this post is really because I want to show off my DIY skills. I suck at DIY. I didnt even get this totally right! But in the end (around 2 hours after I started.. it was assembled how it should be :) ) and I did it all myself apart from the wheels cause the wheels really did defeat me :(

Dead happy with it - got all my polishes in it all organised :) it doesnt look like I have as many now though?! Better fix that and BUY MOOOOOOOOOORE! :D

The wonkiness is my bad camera skills, I swear it!

Top drawer - all my 'naily bits' - top and base, nail pads, files, removers etc :)

2nd drawer - Orange, Red and Pink

3rd drawer - Blue

4th drawer - Green

5th drawer - Browns, Purples, Greys and Yellows

I surprised myself when I sorted through - I really didn't think I had many pinks or purples.. I have quite a lot!

Still got lots of space (MORE POLISH!) - I think around another 50 or so polishes and I'll be full :) (MORE HELMERS!)
