Tuesdays in 2014 will be 'Inspired by..' days

Hey all!

I have seen some fantastic manis over the last year. Too many to count, but loads that I would love to recreate. So starting today and hopefully continuing throughout 2014, I will be doing an 'Inspired by..' feature where I show off some of my favourite manis from other bloggers and show you a look I have done that is either a copy or my own take on it.

I am not the most creative blogger on the planet, but I don't claim to be either - I take lots of inspiration from other bloggers I follow through various social media, and its them that keep me inspired to keep blogging and painting my nails. 

Here is the first - I actually only saw this posted on Facebook a few days ago. It's really stunning and you can't beat a bit of animal print. I loved it so much that I went for a pretty much full on copy of it on my nails.

Yes, I am part of ANOTHER challenge - definitely the last for awhile :) couldn't pass this one up though!

Red Nose Day Nails!

Yay! Tomorrow is Red Nose Day - non-uniform at work, and the theme is 'wear something red' duh.

So seen as I wore my only red clothes today (good planning Rach!) I painted my nails :)

I realise now that my last minute decision to silver my smile lines with a striper has made them look very christmassy.. but what the heck, I still like them :)

As I came on, I saw some other Red Nose Day Manis in my reading list.. all of which are better than mine! But still happy with my first attempt.

My ring finger is the Red Nose that we've been selling at school. I didnt realise but there are actually three versions of Di-Nose-Saurs. We obviously got the cuter one! My attempt is the one on the left :)

Polishes used: KBShimmer - Berry Xmas, Zoya Purity and Raven for detail and Sparkly Nails nail art striper in silver.

Flip / Flop February Challenge - Day 14 - Valentines Day / French Tips

Gone for french tips - never ever done them so i've gone for simple - left my nails bare (bar a base and top coat) so i apologise if you think the staining is really bad but I actually really like the tips :)I've used my trusty cheapy black, then Models Own Pro in Aqua, Jade-anna and Lavender Blue for the dotticure and bow :)Actually liked this enough to paint both hands which is on the rare side for my challenge nails! :) (cause i'm so crap haha!)
