Disney Nail Art Challenge - Day 5 - Beauty and the Beast

Hi all!

This is my second attempt at these. My first attempt was to do something around Chip - my favourite character. I ended up doing Mrs Potts, Chip and all his brothers and sisters. They were a massive fail.

So instead of posting them, I decided to wait for some inspiration to pass me by! Its taken awhile but I came up with another idea so I hope it works this time!

What do you think? Its supposed to be the passage of time where the enchanted rose loses its petals.

Disney Nail Art Challenge - Day 4 - The Little Mermaid

I am soooooo late with these!

I was very uninspired by this theme, even though originally I was like oooh, under water, sea, blue.. brilliant - when it came to it, I couldn't think of anything!

So I put off posting these.. but now I want to catch up.. so cutting my losses and moving on!

The 'half moons' (if you can call them that) are supposed to be like the shells Ariel wears... but they failed haha! :/ Nevermind!

Disney Nail Art Challenge - Day 3 - Fox and Hound

Hi all!

Bit rushed, as I got my dates wrong and thought these were for tomorrow. So i'm leisurely painting them ready to put up tonight ready for the morning and realise they're for today haha! Argh!

So here are my nails. I wanted to be a little bit different as I thought a lot of people might choose to paint Tod or Copper. I've seen a couple so far and they've been awesome.

I decided to do Dinky and Squeaks. If you don't remember these two characters, Dinky is part of the Dinky and Boomer bird pair who go after the caterpillar. They chase him all over, until at the end of the film, he turns into a butterfly and they dont want to eat him anymore. The caterpillar is called Squeaks.

Here are my nails anyway. Hope you like them! :)

Dinky is supposed to be looking into the hole for Squeaks, and Squeaks is coming out of a hole behind him, but its hard to see because I chose a brown too dark for the base. Nevermind - lesson learned!

Yay! Day 2 already!

Here is my attempt - I haven't watched this for years, but I remembered certain characters straight away :)

If you don't recognise him, on my index finger is Hathi Junior -

Base - Nails Inc - Chester Street

Vines - Nicole by OPI - Fell from the Tree

Hathi Jr - Essie - Very Structured, Sephora by OPI - Thyme for a Mani, Essie - Off the Shoulder. All mixed to varying degrees with each other for each part of his face. Zoya Raven and Purity for outlines.

Disney Nail Art Challenge - Day 1 - Alice in Wonderland

Yay! Day 1 is here :) A big thank you needs to go to Katherine for organising all this!

Anyway - here are mine for today. Not 100% happy with these, but hopefully as the challenge progresses my nail art skills and creativity will improve.

Just incase you can't tell - I have two nails which are diamonds and spades, then I have one of the Queen's card guards on my ring finger, her painted red roses on my middle and then the Cheshire cats grin on my thumb :) I wanted to do the pot smoking caterpillar but he was too complicated for me!

Essie Forever Yummy and China Glaze Velvet Bow (roses)

Nicole by OPI - Fell from the Tree (leaves)

Sally Hansen - Hidden Treasure (for under the diamond and spade)

Rimmel - Style Hunter and Ciate - Cabaret for Cheshire Cat

New Nail Art Challenge!

Hi all! 

Yes, I've entered yet ANOTHER nail art challenge. Really looking forward to this one - I do love a bit o' Disney :D 

Starting to prepare today as its a dated one and we all know what I'm like with being on time :/ Happy with the first one though - love Alice and Wonderland and already have a few ideas :)
